This radio controlled car was assembled and painted by me from the (now VERY HARD TO FIND) Tamiya kit.  While its a pretty piece, if I do say so myself, it is also a competitive R/C car in its own right - as it should be if its going to sport that paint job. Its outfitted with many of the same sorts of suspension mods we do on our full scale cars ...only in miniature.  The paint work is a composite of many of my favorite Abarth motifs, with the paint colors custom mixed by me.  Also note there is "weathering" and "character aging" done to the exterior and engine to add a little life to the piece.

LANCIA STRATOS TURBO
1/24 SCALE TAMIYA MODEL

Here's another great out-of-production kit from Tamiya, assembled and painted by me.  There isn't much inside, its all about the exterior decalling and paint work.  Even if I was very good at getting a high gloss finish over those tons of decals, I can't let a great war horse like this one go without it's requisite "weathering" and "aging".  This kit was both patience trying and great fun.  Note that though the wiper is missing, the evidence of it is not.
